How Does Inventory Work?

Inventory is based on two factors. One is the inventory of the individual Product Variations and the Sale Limit of the Bundles you're willing to sell. For instance if you wanted to make a CD & Hat Bundle. And you have 500 CDs and 100 Hats, but you only want to sell a maximum of 25 Bundles, you would put 25 under Sale Limit. Then the Bundle will sellout when you either run out of CDs, Hats, or you hit the Sale Limit.

Do I need to Use "Sale Limit"?

No, if you don't put a Sale Limit in, inventory will default the Product Variations you choose. This means the Variation with the lowest inventory decides the total amount of Bundles you could sell.

How do I Attach Digital To A Bundle?

Digital is inherited from Product Variations. If it's attached to a variation you've added to a Bundle, it will be available in the Bundle. Duplicate Digital items will stripped from the Bundle, so don't worry.

How Do I Set Up Digital Street Date on a Bundle?

Just like Digital, Digital Street Date is inherited from Product Variations. Whatever you have the Street Date set for on the Variation, it will automatically be set for the Bundle.

How Many Different Bundles Can I Do on a Single Product Page?

As many as you want to.

How Does Cart Limit Work On Bundles?

Cart Limiting is NOT inherited from variations added to the Bundle. You must set a new Cart Limit if you don't want more than a certain amount in your customer's cart, at the same time.

Do All The Variations in the Bundle Need to be Available Alone?

Each bundled variation's product must be set as "available". However, you can change it from visible and purchasable to hidden and only purchasable in bundles and VIP packages.

  1. Go into the Product Editor of the Bundled Variation.
  2. Find the "Available - Visible, Purchasable" option at the top of the Editor.
  3. Change it to "Available - Hidden, Purchasable in Bundles & VIP Packages".
  4. Click "Save".

Why Does The Number in the "Left" Column, in my Bundles Section, Go Down Even if a Bundle Doesn't Get Sold?

Ahhhh very good eye! The reason that number goes down is because it's dependent on the Variations you include in the Bundle. Meaning if someone buys a variation on it's own, but it's also in a Bundle, your inventory could potentially go down.
