Shipping Methods for Simple Shipping
Please Note: If you choose to use Shipping Methods on your Simple Shipping Profiles, be sure to set methods on every policy, of every profile you create. Products with incompatible Shipping Methods (for example, one profile set for USPS Priority and another without a method set), cannot be shipped together, and therefore cannot be ordered at the same time. To ensure all of your products can be ordered together, be sure to make common Shipping Methods available across your profiles. For example, maybe Vinyl can be shipped via USPS Media Mail and USPS Priority, while T-Shirts can only be shipped via USPS Priority - in this case, ordering both an LP and a T-Shirt at the same time will result in your customer only being able to choose USPS Priority.
After you have shipping methods configured, you won't have to manually select a shipping method when marking orders as shipped.
To attach shipping methods to simple shipping profiles, go to:
- Inventory
- Gear Icon
- Manage Shipping
- New Profile or Edit Profile
- Click the Shipping Method drop down
- Add a New Shipping Method
You can manage all your shipping methods from one single screen by going to:
- Inventory
- Gear Icon
- Manage Shipping
- Manage Methods
From here you can edit the name or edit and delete the method.
